Sexyy Red

Janae Nierah Wherry, known professionally as Sexyy Red, is an American rapper and hip hop artist. Born in St. Louis and raised in Miami, she is a rising star on the hip hop scene.

Sexyy Red began to make waves within the industry in 2020 with the release of her single, “Toe Tag.” The song showcased her unapologetic honesty within her lyrics and fearless approach to life and her music. In 2022, she collaborated on the single, “Sense Dat God Gave You,” by Summer Walker.

Her breakthrough hit, “Pound Town,” produced by Tay Keith was release in January 2023. The song was later remixed and called “Pound Town 2” by rapper Nicki Minaj. It became her first single to hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She released the mixtape Hood Hottest Princess in June 2023 and joined Drake on his ‘It’s All a Blur’ tour as an opening act. She embarks on her first ever headlining tour later in 2023.
