CeCe Winans, born Priscilla Marie Winans on October 8, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, is a highly acclaimed American gospel singer, songwriter, and one of the most influential figures in contemporary Christian music. She began her career in the 1980s with her brother BeBe Winans as part of the duo BeBe & CeCe Winans. CeCe later launched a successful solo career with her debut album “Alone in His Presence” in 1995.
With numerous hits and over 10 Grammy Awards, she is celebrated for her powerful voice and faith-filled music. Her other achievements include 20 Dove Awards, Stellar Awards, and Billboard Music Awards. CeCe has also been involved in philanthropy through her charitable organization, Hope for the City.
